The purpose of this blog is to bring awareness to a need within the low income young adult population regarding the social determinants, and disparities that occur which negatively impact ones’ health status. Social determinants can simply be defined as one’s environment and how it shapes behavior, lifestyle, and habits . This blog will provide background, research, and overall insight on the problem with an intervention program/recommendation for current and future scopes.
